How to Use Cherami’s Online Cards Maker on Your Mobile Device

Unlike many similar web tools for online card making, Cherami Cards is completely optimized for mobile devices. In other words, you don’t have to be stuck to your desktop computer to be able to create and send a beautiful personalized love card to a special someone. You can use our free online cards maker from your Google Nexus, Apple iPhone, Samsung Galaxy Note or any other mobile device and cell phone just as easily.

This can save you tons of time and keep you out of trouble when you realize, for example, that it’s someone’s birthday and you haven’t sent them a gift or a card. Just take out your phone or tablet, do a few magic tricks with your fingers over the Cherami app, and voila! A loving greeting card has been sent on time, right before the special someone gets a chance to get mad at you for forgetting their b-day.

Another great thing about mobile use of Cherami is that it’s a web app, so you don’t need to install anything. You just need a decent Internet connection so that you can design cards online, without using any storage on your device.

The only thing that’s left to do is to learn how to use Cherami’s free online card maker on your mobile device.

For demonstration purposes, we’ll use LG K8 cell phone. The process is the same on all other Android devices and very similar on Apple, Microsoft and other phones and tablets.

Step 1:

Type “cherami cards” or go directly to this URL: https://cherami.cards/ on your phone. This is what you’ll get:

Tap the Try for FREE button.

Step 2:

On some devices (definitely on LG K8) you’ll be prompted to rotate your device to landscape position.

Step 3:

Now that you obeyed the instructions and rotated the device, click on the three lines that appear in the upper left-hand side of the screen. Tap on the first option: “Love cards”, and you’ll enter the application for online card making.

Step 4:

Start by exploring and choosing your greeting card’s shape. You need to pick a shape in order to add other design elements to it. To see all the design elements, click on the bluish three-line icon in the lower right-hand side of the screen.

The design options wheel will be your main control center where you’ll switch between different elements and keep adding neat visuals to your card.

Step 5:

Once you’ve chosen your shape (let’s say circle), you can move on to the Backgrounds category and choose either a transparent or a solid background. If you choose a solid background, you probably won’t be able to add any other graphics, but, of course, you can play around with different possibilities. Here we chose the first solid background for demonstration purposes.

To go back to the design options wheel, click the blue icon in the lower right-hand corner.

Step 6:

Similarly to choosing your background you can also choose a border, some other elements such as text ribbon or simple shapes, and graphics. Explore graphics in the Graphics category.

Step 7:

You can also include text by clicking on the Text option and tapping on the “Your text” field. Your phone’s keyboard will appear and you’ll be able to type in your sweet birthday (or any other) message.

Once you typed your text, you can reposition it on your card, make it bigger or smaller, change the font type, its size, color, add shadow to your letters, etc.

Step 8:

Finally, click on the blue arrow for Saving or Sending your card, and you’ll be able to send it via email or share it on any of your social media channels. The only thing you’ll need to do in order to use Cherami’s smooth sending and sharing services is to log in to your Cherami account using your email or Facebook account.

These are only some basic steps to creating a loving card with our online cards maker. We suggest you spend your next “traffic jam” / “stuck in your car” / “waiting at the doctor’s” session playing with Cherami on your cell phone and figuring out all the nice little tricks for becoming an expert at designing cool cards.
